02 / 2016 — 2026
This story starts before CRAFT. From Kacper’s internship in 2016, through assembly lines and the decision to start a business, to the team and workshop we have been building since 2021.
Where did the money come from?
Before CRAFT / Electrolux
In 2016, I joined Electrolux for a three-month internship. I stayed for five years, working on assembly lines and quality — from intern to senior process engineer.
Kacper This is where my part of the story begins.

Electrolux / a new assembly line
In 2020, I worked on a new assembly line. It taught me to look at the whole process and at the details that determine whether it actually works.
From a single operation to an entire line.
One year later
Leaving was not easy — the team was great. But I wanted to try working on my own terms.
Kalno / a workshop in a stable / 60 m²
In 2021, I “escaped to start my own thing” — before the new line was quite up and running 😉 I moved from Wrocław to Kalno, into a converted stable with equipment bought using crypto profits. That is how CRAFT began: Kacper, Martyna, THE BOSS and Kociak.

We expanded the Kalno workshop with a 1956 milling machine, FDM and SLA printers, and mould-making and casting equipment. We could test and build more of our ideas in-house.

Kalno → Żarów / the move
We moved from Kalno to Żarów — about two kilometres away, into a former bakery hall. The bank helped finance the hall. An industrial saw for aluminium profiles and two FDM printers also joined us that year. A short move, a big step for CRAFT.

Żarów / growing our capabilities
Dawid joined, along with an industrial bandsaw and welder, a mill drill, an engraving laser and a laboratory. More machining, testing and materials work could now happen in-house.

Żarów / today
Patryk joined. An EU grant helped us add a fibre laser, CNC press brake, 3D scanner, screw compressor and solar panels. We used our own funds for a lathe, more 3D printers and a gym. Six people, more possibilities — and no shortage of ideas.
